Originally published in 1978 the Plantagenets series was revised and republished in January 2016 with a new cover which replaces the original 1978 by Colin Andrew cover below:
When "A Pride of Kings" was published in hard cover (1978) the dust cover featured the photo above of Juliet Dymoke and mentioned that she was working on two sequels (The Royal Griffin and The Lion of Mortimer) as well as The White Cockade.
The American version of the book (by Ace Books) featured a different cover to the British version by "New English Library Ltd":
